Here are some verbs useful in your daily activities:

eat
kaon

Now, to express actions that happened in the past, we simply say:

nikaon
nisakay
nipalit
niadto
nilingkod
nitindog
niinom

To express the future form or actions that have not yet happened, the form would be like this:

mokaon
mosakay

molingkod
motindog
moinom

Here are some examples for their application:

I will eat balut.
Mokaon ako og balot.

I will ride a tricycle.
Mosakay ako og tricycle.

I will buy balut.
Mopalit ako og balut.

I will go the the office.
Moadto ako sa opisina.

I will drink milk.
Moinum ako og gatas.

What do you think is the position of the verb?

What comes after the verb? Ako, ako is the nominal I, meaning to say, the actor is the subject of the sentence.

What do you think is the function of "sa"?

"Sa" is loosely the equivalent of to, in, on, and at. So it is added prior to a word for a place.

For instance:

to the house
- sa balay

in the room
- sa kwarto

at the office
- sa opisina

What do you think is the function of "ug"?

"Ug" - has 2 major functions:

ug - to signify duration of time when an action is done or performed.

for three hours
- ug tulo ka oras

for two days
- ug duha ka adlaw

for five minutes
- ug lima ka minuto

ug - and

Ernie and Bert
- Si Ernie ug si Bert

Brad and Angelina
- Si Brad ug si Angelina

Although ug and og sound the same, they are used differently:  Here is the use of 'og'

og - marker for object

Mokaon ako og spaghetti.
Mopalit ako og Mercedes Benz.
Mosakay ako og taxi

Now, try to create your own sentences using the words given above.
